Puducherry Darshan Tour
A tour of the places of tourist interest in Puducherry starts at 8.30am daily except on Mondays from our Branch Office at No.2 Chetty Street and ends at 12.00noon at the Dining Room.
Programme for the Puducherry Darshan Tour @Rs.70/- per head.

1. Varadaraja (Lord Vishnu) Temple : Perumal Koil, built in 12th Century
Here Narasimha sits behind Venkatachalapathy, the main deity.
2. Vedapuriswara (Lord Shiva) Temple : Iswaran Koil, built in 18th Century (1788)
Pondicherry was once known a Vedapuri. It has a swayambhulinga & stone inscriptions.
Upto 9.00am
3. Cathedral Church : Saint Paul's Koil, built in 1791 under the title of
Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, consecrated by Bishop Champenois.
Upto 9.35am
4. Botanical Garden and Aquarium : 160 years old with plants from all over India and
abroad, priceless Chola bronzes and sculptures. Joy train (at extra cost).
Upto 10.15am
5. Chunambar Boating Club : Peddalar boat, motor boats, hydroplane etc. with
Beach and back water resort for swimming etc. and a tree top house
Upto 11.15am
6. Puducherry Museum : Started by the French on 16th Dec.,1942. It has
antique sculptures and statues and findings from the Arikamedu, Roman settlement.
Upto 12.noon
The trip will return to the starting place via the Dining Room of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and those who have dining pass may get down there.
Please note that all entrance fees will be paid by us. All the entertaintment charges have to be paid by you according to your use.
